ANTI FOODPORN

Small Personal Project to learn more about broserextensions. The goal was it to learn how they are structured and how they work. But since I wanted it to be more than just a tech-demo, I planned support people that want to loose weight and are annoyed and demotivated by foodporn images in their facebook feed.

Facebook. A platform full of content. Sometimes interesting, sometimes usefull but also quite often demotivating and frustrating. Many people want to loose weight and see themself confronted with foodporn images and videos on a daily basis. This needs to stop! So I took action and wrote a small browserextension that filters out media about foodporn and replaces it with fitnessvideos and exercise suggestions that should keep you motivated.
